Sheep Ditch is the brainchild of experimental music veterans Jay Howard and Scott Miller. 'Foster Park Bowl/Perkins Cul de Sac' marks the beginning of a new all acoustic era for the project, here featured as both a duo and quartet. The A side was recorded in an abandoned outdoor amphitheater near Ojai, CA, gear was carried up concrete staircases, food was served. Construction workers and vehicles can be heard in the background throughout the session. The B side was recorded in a Cul de sac at the end of Perkins Rd in Oxnard as a quartet with the addition of Rob Magill and Max Pippin. A very dystopian landscape with piles of concrete rubble and smoke stack factories, semi-trucks, birds, bugs, jet planes and broken glass.
