Out today: 2070 'Shordy'

Available on cassette, digital, and all streaming services. Also available in the September Cassette Release Bundle.

'Shordy' is an expansive amalgamation of fuzzed out post-punk, field recordings, bedroom pop, and garage rock. Led by Trevor Coleman (Caribbean Health, Forget the Times), 2070 is a Los Angeles based four piece, playing together over the past two years, rounded out by Khari Cousins (guitar), Tchad Cousins (bass), and Rogers DeCoud (drums). The album takes the listener on an eclectic journey, blurring lines between genres, impossible to pin down to one specific sound, while still having a comforting cohesion throughout. Catchy melodies collide with tape fuzz and post-punk angst. This is truly music meant for cassette.
